Meet the owners, Brian and Alison Hainley 


It all started with brunch, short rib hash and shrimp and grits, to be exact.  Brian and Alison met in 2012 and quickly connected over their shared love of the food scene.  Brian, a chef and former restaurant owner, and Alison, a marketing specialist in the grocery game, fell in love over many delicious meals, laughs, and lots of good wine! 


A few years, a wedding, and two kids later, the opportunity presented itself to open the place they had dreamed of for so many years.  A place that would become the local brunch hang with delicious, seasonal fare, inspired by their southern roots in a modern, energetic atmosphere. 


Named after their son, Mason’s is nestled in the heart of the up and coming downtown of Aberdeen, North Carolina.  The Hainleys took on the massive renovation of the historic 100 year old building, restoring some of the original elements, while creating a bright, contemporary space. 


From the scratch made biscuits and craft cocktails, to the market, featuring local and regional specialty products, the team at Mason’s hope to give you the best possible dining experience.
